My 5 Obsessions

Thanks to friends I have only met once in my life (I'm sure I went to your wedding reception, right?), but who are now "internet buddies", I have to list my 5 obsessions.

Let's define "obsession" shall we?

"A persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling."

Okay, now why did they have to go and use the word "disturbing"? Do we have to define disturbing now? Is it the thing I'm preoccupied with, or is the fact that I'm preoccupied with it disturbing? And why does it have to be unreasonable?

I was all set to give a list of things I love. But now I have make a list of unreasonable things that I like to do so much that it's disturbing.
Okay, here goes.
1. Stalking people. I feel an unnatural excitement when I'm stalking one of my friends. At this point I feel that I should explain a few things before someone decides to call the cops on me. I mean no harm. It's all in good fun. And most of the time you guys aren't even aware of it. But rest assured, the real reason for the excitement is the moment when I get to unveil to you, the stalkee, that I've been stalking you! Zack assures me that this moment is both terrifying and wonderful at the same time. ("She likes me enough to stalk me! Buuuut she was STALKing me....")
2. Duct tape. If you can use it to fix a broken car AND make a dress out of it, need I say more?
3. Polyester and wigs. I haven't done this in awhile (at least a year or so), but it's refreshing to change your personality, put on a nice 50 year old wig, and go out for a night on the town.
4. The Beatles. I'm going to go ahead and put down a FORMER obsession for number 4. I USED to be obsessed with The Beatles. USED to. I still like them, that's for sure. But I no longer feel the unsatiable urge to read all about them, to visit where they used to live and to celebrate their birthdays. Crystal can do that one for me. She and Ringo are TIGHT.
5. Going out to eat (aka NOT cooking). This is a current obsession. I really don't like to cook. Maybe it's the lack of time I have to do it. Maybe it's the preparation that's involved. Maybe it's because after you cook dinner one night you have to do it again the next night. It's never done! Never! You will always have to cook dinner for the rest of your life! You can NEVER escape it!
Are those all unreasonable?

Unreasonable? Noooo...at least not #s 1, 2, &3. Although I have to admit it's been waaaaaay too long since I put on polyester and a wig at the same time or did anything with duct tape more interesting than hanging Christmas lights outside my house. Ooh, new rainy day project for the girls! Woohoo!!!

Cleaning is never done either, so I'm obsessed with not cleaning.

I'm almost sure you were at our reception. It was at the U, and there were pink valentine cookies. Sound familiar? Didn't you go with us when we hiked Timp?

I wanna see some of them wigs!
