Nothing is getting done at my house. It's been this way for two days. I knew this would happen. I'm almost done. Just a hundred pages or so. Then I can come back to the present world. The world where there are no Souls and Hosts, Jareds, Jamies, Ians, or impossible decisions to make.
You know what I mean.

Hehehe. Man, I enjoyed that book.
That's the exact reason why I won't pick it up. I want to read it, but I don't want to ignore my kids and I want to sleep. I'll have to figure out a plan so I can read it. If it wasn't so blasted hot I could let my little boy play at the park for hours. Okay, maybe that wouldn't work, but I'd like to think it would.
I just finished that book and am having mixed feelings...
Maybe we should talk about this...
I haven't read it yet - I'm saving it for when I'm kid-free in two weeks! Then I can neglect the house but the house won't pester me to play with it or read it a story or beg to go outside and playyyyyy. And when I do clean the house, it will stay clean for more than two seconds. I also plan to purchase the three previous books by the same author at the same time and enjoy them all in one kid-free self-indulgent week.
I'm just enjoying being a guy - and having no clue what book you're talking about. Isn't life grand?
Now, if it has anything to do with vampires and unrealistic expectations superimposed on even the greatest of 'our kind' then I stand fast in reiterating my previous comment of having no interest. I’d rather kill a gnarly solo on guitar heeeeroooooooo.
What book? I guess I am out of it. It sounds good if you can't put it down.
