And here's why.
Aren't they just adorable?!
Tippy, the old family dog, used to sit in front of the door all the time and just watch the goings on of our neighborhood.
I had a hunch Maxwell was from the same mold as dear old Tippy.
McKay has had to warm up to it a bit.

I have to admit, MY reason for wanting a storm door was so that there would be a barrier between Carrier and the obnoxious door to door salesman or anyone else who comes to the door during the day while she's home with a baby. But I was really excited to see how Maxwell would like it :o)
The other night I got to experience talking with a saleslady through the storm door who was telling me that only an idiot wouldn't want them to aererate their lawn. She was able to understand very clearly, even through the glass, that I'm an idiot.
Good old Tippy. I think maybe this is why storm doors were invented. Oh, and Zack's reason. That would be nice. We've had a lot of enthusiastic newspaper people around here lately, and they don't seem to understand that we already take the paper. Maybe if I was telling them through the glass...
For some reason I have this itch to get a storm door. Maybe it's because subconsciously I think it means I'll get a dog - either that or the vision of me telling off a salesman through the glass is just too much to pass up.
cute!oh I miss tippy!
Awwww...my daughter is loving these 'puppies.' So cute!
What's that? Storm door = new dog? Why haven't I been notified?!
