Lullaby

"Well the sun is surely sinking down,
but the moon is slowly rising.
So this old world must still be spinning around,
and I still love you.

So close your eyes;
You can close your eyes, it's all right.
I don't know no love songs,
and I can't sing the blues any more.
But I can sing this song,
and you can sing this song
when I'm gone.

It won't be long before another day.
We're gonna have a good time.
And no one's gonna take that time away.
You can stay as long as you like.

So close your eyes;
You can close your eyes, it's all right.
I don't know no love songs,
and I can't sing the blues any more.
But I can sing this song,
and you can sing this song
when I'm gone."

I heard about this a couple of years ago. All I know is that you lost a baby, I'm curious about what happened. (When I've seen you I never wanted to ask, I don't think that is something to be brought up out of the blue.) I can't imagine losing a child and I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You've been through a lot of significant sad things. Hmm, hopefully that means that your life will shortly be blessed with significant happy things.

I have to admit that I avoid thinking about Josh because I don't deal with those thoughts well. After reading this post I realize how much time has passed and I find myself wishing I could have known Josh. All my best to you two. Your example of perseverance is inspiring.

I kept thinking about you guys yesterday. April 28th is special to me for so many reasons. I get to celebrate the birth of the love of my life, a sweet niece, nephew, and my other mother from my in-law brother :-) How could I not feel blessed on a day like that? We are blessed.
